Net Fishing In Danang, Vietnam

Local Vietnamese have fished from the beaches of Danang, Vietnam, for a very long time. The men use long fishing nets and use their strength to pull the nets out of the sea by walking backward.

It can take many men (and women) to pull in the nets from the sea. The fishermen use rubber belts around their waist and attach them to the rope for additional strength. Basket boats are used to set and store the nets.

The fishing net is long and carefully bundled in the basket boats.

A great time to catch the fishermen at work is sunrise or sunset. Enjoy the fresh fish at your favorite local restaurant serving seafood.

Happy travels!
